General Description:

In Gnome Town, players rebuild Gnome Town and save the Enchanted Forest while defeating an Evil Gnome. Players free forest creatures who help rebuild the town, creating a progression loop tied to narrative advancement.

 

Gnome Town was Disney’s first Facebook game released under the Disney brand and exceeded performance expectations, reaching a peak of 500,000 daily active users and sustaining live operations for two years. I worked on Gnome Town from May 2011 through January 2012 as Associate Product Manager.

My Responsibilities:

My responsibilities included:

  • Developed and implemented two-thirds of the game content including quest design and dialogue
  • Helped establish the content creation pipeline under guidance
  • Coordinated game localization into German and French
  • Managed the outsourced QA team throughout development and live operations
