Role

Producer / Product Manager

General Description:

In November 2013, I was moved from Alice in Wonderland to an unannounced Star Wars project as Producer. The game had been in development for six months and was targeting release on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Facebook in May 2014. The project was cancelled in March 2014.

The game was a turn-based combat title using rock-paper-scissors mechanics for tactical depth. Players assembled teams for both PvE and PvP battles. The game featured cross-platform synchronization, allowing players to start on an iPad and continue on an Android phone.

My Responsibilities:

My responsibilities on the project included:

  • Led production for a team of 39 developing a cross-platform synchronized game across four platforms
  • Coordinated relationships with Disney central services teams including Localization, Analytics, Disney QA, platform porting teams, Monetization, Legal, and Social Engineering
  • Authored comprehensive game design documentation covering core systems including tutorial, synchronized gameplay functionality, monetization features, social systems, and quest mechanics
  • Developed content roadmap and A/B testing strategy for geo-beta and worldwide launch
