General Description:
Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion continued the storyline from the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film. In the game, the Red Queen attempts to return from the Outlands and retake Underland from the White Queen. Players help Alice and other characters by solving puzzles and finding Impossible Things.
Alice in Wonderland launched on iOS in September 2013 and on Android in October 2013. The crafting and adventure game used narrative progression to drive player engagement. I worked on the project from its inception in September 2012 until it was sunset in February 2014.
My Responsibilities:
My responsibilities on the project included:
- Managed a team of 25 developing and launching a localized game worldwide on iOS and Android
- Established production processes and content pipelines for on-time delivery
- Coordinated relationships with Disney central services teams including Localization, Analytics, Disney QA, Marketing, Legal, Monetization, and Ad Operations
- Authored the game design document and comprehensive specifications for all game features
- Designed the game economy, content release plan, and overall storyline, ensuring alignment with Disney brand requirements
